29 January 2018
Al-Burhan Airways is proud to announce that on the historical day of Monday 29th of January 2018, the teams at Al-Burhan Airways Iraqi Helicopter Services have conducted the first civilian helicopter charter flight to Al-Asad Airbase.
While previous flights were already conducted to Balad Airbase and Taji Airbase, this achievement illustrates the capabilities of Al-Burhan Airways to support foreign companies operating in Iraq.
The Al-Asad Airbase is located in a remote location of the Anbar province where helicopter operations are very much appropriate to guarantee the safest and fastest transfers from Baghdad International Airport.
Al-Burhan Airways Commercial Officer Mr Noor Al-Hamandi commented: “This first flight to Al-Asad Airbase is a clear evidence of the strong coordination and cooperation that Al-Burhan Airways has successfully achieved with ICAA, PMNOC, Iraqi Air Defense, and other related authorities. It is a very positive sign that Al-Burhan Airways service has proven highly reliable and cost-sensitive to our foreign customers”.
With the recent implementation of the IOGP 590-2 Aircraft Management Guidelines, Al-Burhan Airways is now fully on track to provide services to the entire International Community in Iraq.
